Privacy & HIPAA Notice

Link and Learn Behavioral LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of your health information. As a HIPAA covered entity providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services in Texas, we are required by law to maintain the privacy of your Protected Health Information (PHI) and to provide you with notice of our privacy practices.

A complete Notice of Privacy Practices is provided to every client or legal guardian at or before the first session. You may also request a copy at any time by contacting us at info@linkandlearnbehavioral.com.

Your Privacy Rights

Under HIPAA and Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 181 (Texas HB 300), you have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your child’s health records

• Request corrections to your child’s records

• Know how your child’s health information is used and shared

• Request restrictions on certain uses of your child’s information

• File a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been violated

How We Protect Your Information

We use and share your health information only as permitted by law — for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations. We will not sell your information, share it without your written authorization, or use it for marketing purposes. All electronic health information is stored on HIPAA-compliant, encrypted platforms covered under signed Business Associate Agreements.

This Website

This website does not collect Protected Health Information. Do not include medical or diagnostic information in any message sent through this website. To begin the intake process, contact us directly at info@linkandlearnbehavioral.com. All clinical information is collected through our secure intake process.

Mandatory Reporting

All staff of Link and Learn Behavioral LLC are mandatory reporters under Texas Family Code § 261.101. We are required by Texas law to report any reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services regardless of privacy protections.
